Google currency converter problem

If you use https://www.google.co.in it will work fine. 

Hello everyone...

i'm facing this wierd problem.

wenever i browse in chrome even if my current location is pune,India,,

wen i just type 50$ and search it wont convert to Indian rupee, it just shows Euros.
anyone can help me???

punch in "50 usd to indian rupee" and it should do what you want.

slight extra annoyance, but it should do what you want to do.

EDIT: should add, you can type "inr" instead of "indian rupee" just like you can do "usd" for freedom dollars and "eur" for european monopoly money.

It's supposed to do that. I live in the US and it converts to euros, too. Use .co.in if you really want it to default to India-based resources (eg, defaulting to IR.)

thanku macronus..

but the thing is i just typed 50$ in address bar on top.
or even if i just select the currency in some website and right click and search google.
it shows euros.

No problem! At the bottom of the page there should be an option use Google.co.in which would default to Indian google and then it would show you right conversion. ;)
