Hi,

I noticed that the recent topics sidebar is now showing topics where a recent post was made, not the old system where the newest topics would be shown.

I don't think that is a good thing, imagine just some topics coming back up days after days. Like you look at it once then you're probably not gonna go back to it unless someone quotes you (for which you already get a notif). I would much prefer the recent topics side bar to show the most recently created topics. That way you can see the newest content, not the newest replies to it.
