What the Actual Hell is this?

JSind11

So I at work, diagnosing a problem with someone laptop not connecting to LAN properly.

because the connection was flaky I had a look in the Ethernet port for anything obviously broken and found THIS?

post-194547-0-61956000-1453451238_thumb.

I have no idea why there is a seahorse here? and a decent amount of time googling (instead of working ) has found nothing..

starfish is just as fast as a sea horse, definitely faster when going against the current.

but that looks like a dragon to me, not a sea horse.

That is 100% a seahorse. Just look at the tail, how it curls dragons don't really do that.

But that is besides the point.

Exactly, sea horse's tail curves in the opposite side, so it doesn't look at all like a sea horse.

starfish have been clocked at 0.3 mm/s or 0.000571mph

Seahorses move at aprox 5mph

current doesnt count, I could be faster then a cheetah if i was in a car or falling off a tall cliff.

but starfish move with a goal. Seahorses just bump around like plants.

you might be onto something since i am struggling to even find a speed for these things

A side note apparently some of them have the ability to jump 3,300ft high...which is mind boggling

Possibly 3,300 ft were they the same height as a human? Like how a "human sized flea" could jump 3 miles or whatever.

That sounds about right. Even though I had no idea they could even jump.

That sounds about right. Even though I had no idea they could even jump.

"Some abyssal species in the abyssal order Elasipodida have evolved to a "benthopelagic" behaviour: their body is nearly the same density as the water around them, so they can make long jumps (up to 1,000 m (3,300 ft) high), before falling slowly back to the ocean floor."
