also why are people still selling 720p/768p panels???

 

 

i keep looking online at big box retailers and i keep seeing 720p/768p panels that are 55" WHY!?

They still make floppy discs too, doesn't mean anyone is really going to buy them.

srsly, someone asking that kinda gives me a headache. Not everyone is quality bound and require bigger screens because of reasons  and those panels are cheaper. if you don't want to buy them, ignore them. If you wanna know why they still exist, it's because they give a profit.

The people hat buy them will plug their VHS with composite so won't see any difference.

For that matter my bluray player only came with composite cables. My tv doesn't even have component connections let alone composite. It's all hdmi.

Because people care more about the size of the tv rather than the quality.

720p is the most popular desktop monitor resolution.

Because people can't afford higher resolution. People don't have stuff that supports higher. People don't have money to upgrade. 

 

There is tons of reasons
