Gonna Rearrange My Room

...But I need some suggestions from you guys as to what I should do, as honestly I have no idea what I want to do.

 

Here is the current layout, the door is on an angled wall in the corner and the rest of the room is square with a couple doors on the bottom right. I have a pretty short Ethernet cable so keep that in mind!

I also want to move my desk so that it's nice and cozy but also I have some privacy in case someone walks in. The way I have it right now is okay, but the door is right next me and anyone in the house can hear me yelling (I tend to do that a lot). Oh, I also noticed that my subwoofer has a much, much greater affect if it's sound is being reflected off of a wall, and the bass is much stronger (basically amplifies off of the wall).

 

Let me know what you guys think, maybe I should just keep it the way I have it. Thanks!

Probably just clean it up a bit then? I think it's the best option for this space, even though I'm not really that happy with it.

I have somewhat similar layout in my nerdcave. My desk is facing the door where your shelf is now. The right side of the desk is against the wall and my back is toward what would be your closet. My wife used to startle the hell out of me coming in while I was gaming but now I can see the door behind my monitors so it's no longer an issue. I love it. Plus there's the added bonus on there not being a line of sight from the door to the monitors. :D My desk has a back thou. It looks a lot neater and gives freedom IYKWIM. ;)

I don't know if it'd all fit but I'd recommend putting the desk where the shelf is, the bed where the desk is and the shelf where the bed is. Maybe add a plywood back to the desk or get a new one altogether.

But I don't think there would be much walking room between the desk and the bed if I do that... Nice idea though.

Honestly I wish my room was smaller or bigger. This size is just so awkward to manage.

There is not many options with the angels and the size of everything but if your not happy with it try adding some colour (Color just notice you were from America) to the walls ^^  because the walls are very bland, by adding some Colour (Color) it will give the room a more livelier feel to it.

That's exactly what I do.

 

Almost done with everything though. I'm stuck at installing F@H on the PC I'm setting up but it's getting there.
