3D printing of human organs

jos

Heart.jpg

An exhibition of items produced by means of 3D printing - the process of making a three-dimensional, solid object of virtually any shape from a digital model - is opening at the Science Museum in London in October.

Among the hundreds of items that will be on display, from aeroplane parts to art works, will be a 3D-printed bladder that is just one example of work worldwide to make 3D-printed organs a reality, changing surgery and transplants forever.

Here we show artificial organ without 3D printing

You'd be suprised, after creating muscle tissue of sorts, you'd be able to do all sorts of stuff

just so it s clear

the exebition uses plasti cs in his models.

scientist have been able to produce real. usable. living things out of printers for years.

but only simple things like blood vessels and what not.

we re not yet able to do complicated organs.

but that exposition of plastic organs is neat .

Anything I write is just a comment, take is as such, there is no guarantees associated with anything I say.

This is amazing. Diabetes 1? Get a new Pancreas! Need a new Arotic valve? Print one...with your own stem cells. Although this is nothing new, this scaffolding technique (not so much 3d printing) is being used in zero gravity environments like Space to create Human Livers. 0 gravity is needed to allow for the 3 dimensional growth of complex structures like a liver. Coincidentally, the developing baby in an amniotic sac, experiences buoyancy which acts to negate the effects of gravity on developing organs.

Not using plastic mate, they are using tissue and other materials

not printed, created. its a difference

in the case of a burger, they are using meat and yes, printing it
