Based on everything I can find the only difference between the two boards is the switch type brown vs blue. So why is it the brown switches cost so much more than the blues.

I get a discount from work on hardware and with that the G710+ is double the price than G710 yet both are 130 full price. Wanting Browns but may end up with blues for the price difference.

This shows off all the cherry switches and the differences between them.

Blue is for typists (apparently?) And brown is not perfect for gaming it's a good middle ground for typing and gaming probably why it's the most popular switch of them all.

I had blue, brown and red switches. I liked blue the best. I have also used G710 blue and it was quite nice. Now replaced that with Ducky legend cherry MX blue with

I thought they were like the same price on Amazon? I have the G710. I've tried all the main Cherry MX switches and blues are my personal favorite. All comes down to preference.

Edit: Yep, less than a $10 price difference on Amazon.

Normal price there's maybe a $15 difference. I'm wondering why the manufacture price is such a drastic difference. My discount is based on what they pay Logitech for them. It ends up being a $55 difference to me.

Well one more difference is that the 710+ comes with o-rings included, which would cost around $10 more to buy alone.
