PC build order taking 45 days to finish

raladin3D

Hey guys

I ordered  almost entire Pc build pieces on December 4th from NCIX but till today the build is not finished and it is estimated to be built on the 14th of January (although they told me that it will be finished on the 28th of December). Is itnormal to take this long? I mean I know it was the holidays and all but to take 2 months to build a pc?

should I do anything? try to get some discount? deals out of it? or just let it go? I won't be enjoying much of my PC now that I get it on the 14th to be honest since college starts again, I was hoping to get it 10 days before so that I get to binge before school starts.

main reason behind delay is the i7 6700k.

Discount? Not likely, you've read the terms and conditions I hope.

It's most likely, as of the lack of supply of the 6700K that the build will take a while, as it already did.

Once the processor is supplied, your build will be completed and shipped.

Should've known better, or earlier that it wasn't being built that soon.

Up to you, get another CPU or wait it out. Or cancel it as a whole.

I originally wanted the 4790k cpu but they told me that that CPU is totally out and the best option to go for the 6700k since it would be shipped earlier.... so I actually had no options

also can't cancel as the 520 cad cpu is non refundable +_+

That's unfortunate :(

Maybe the 6600K? I have it and it's been great except the lack of hyperthreading and such.
