First PC Build, can I have some suggestions/tips/comments

Well this is my first ever PC build and I was wondering what you guys think of it and how do you think it will perform in the later years, I would like to upgrade as I go but this was kinda my budget at the time.

1. How do you think it will perform with the high demanding graphical games?

2. Game Stuttering Topic if anyone could shed some light for me: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/516509-game-stuttering-please-help-need-help-dont-know-how-to-fix/#entry6868038

3. Is the Motherboard good enough if I were to upgrade other parts in the future?

770 is kinda meh, but the rest is a solid build! You won't get 144 fps though.

GTX 770...

That wont be able to run a 144Hz, or much less 'high demanding graphical games'

Jump on a 970 or 980.

I'm very nervous about upgrading is my motherboard good? I don't want to buy all these good parts in the near future and have a bad motherboard

Mobo is fine, you won't have any trouble upgrading in the future. But I do strongly suggest saving up a bit more for a better GPU, like the 970 or 390. Also a better psu would be nice. (evga g2/gs/, seasonic) Edit: misread.

Yes I would like to upgrade to a 980... at the time of purchasing the 770 for some reason it was $300 from Best Buy, maybe a little more and the 980 was like $450.. but the 770 today is still $300 so I'm a little confused, and the 980 is like $340 on sale.

If you can get a 980 for that price, I'd jump on it.

You can get better price/performance at that pricepoint if I'm not mistaken.

Any reason EVGA over Nvidia?

AMD over Nvidia*

390 has twice the VRAM, performs generally a tiny bit better, and costs the same. Only cons are higher power consumption and a bit higher temps.

I thought you can find both cards with 4GB of Vram

Nope, 390 has 8GB and 970 only has 3.5GB usable, but that isn't really an issue.

I'll look into it, thanks for the advice. Anything else that looks "ok" that can be fixed

Your 770 is the only thing holding you back. Its a bit weaker than the R9 280X

Replace with a 970/390 or better, if you want to get remotely close to 144fps in mainstream titles.

Yes Yes good build but why Z97 and 4690K if you don't want to overclock

Also get gtx 970

770 is last gen

Here is a game stuttering topic I posted a couple of days ago, the issues still are happening, can anyone shed some light for me.

All 4GB is usable on the 970...

Usable yes, but .5GB has a very low speed, and lags everything out when you reach 3.5+ usage of VRAM. (Last time I checked, this wasn't fixed, maybe it is now)

The 300 series from AMD has better price:performance than the 970-980 region.

My point exactly.

You need a new GPU

A 970 or 980, or at least a 390X or something.
