Provided it's a decent PSU, then yes, 600W is fine.

and what is the lifespan?

It varies depending on the card, PSU, ambient temps and conditions, other components and so on. Can't really give a lifespan of a card, as they can be DOA or last decades. Only real guaranteed lifespan is the warranty period, as you can replace the card within that time.

Да не си посмял да закачиш 290 за това. Ще избухне.

The exaggeration is real.

@NicekillBG No, it probably won't explode. The chances of causing damage to your system without shutting off are rather slim. But it can't power a 290. Change it to a decent one from the list here - http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/406160-psu-ranking-and-tiers/page-1

From salty to bath salty in 2.9 seconds

Because it's a no-name chinese cheapo that cannot output more than 400W continuously. A 140lv Cooler Master G650M on nikem,bg is quite good value.

Listen to Don, you think a quality power supply is expensive. When that cheap power supply distroys your PC and you have to replace it, that's expensive.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
