Windows doesn't detect Hard Drive after switching SATA Ports

Due to space limitations/interference, I had to move my hard drive from SATA port 1 to port 3. I have my SSD on port 0.

The bios detects the hard drive on port 3 however when i boot to windows, the drive isn't showing up on disk management (windows 10).

Any idea's why this is happening? The computer is a Dell Optiplex 7010 Mid-Tower.

Sometimes reboot the computer one more time would fix the problem. You can also go to "Device Manager" in "Systems" and click the icon for "Scan for Hardware Changes" to see if it helps.

I have the same problem with my drive. Mine is detected in BIOS / ueft tho and I cannot make windows to recognise the disk.

 

 

I fixed the issue. I had to install the intel rapid store technology driver from the dell website.
