cant play ac2, cant connect to ubifuck server

so when i try to launch the goddamn game it tries to connect to some ubisoft server, unable to do that it doesent let me play the fking game. what is this bs? when i buy a game from steam i should be able to play the damn thing.  whats up with this thing, can i fix it?

Launch it in offline mode, then it won't attempt to connect to the servers (if it starts uplay (i don't know how uplay\steam titles work on that matter), change uplay to offline mode)

i had to make it so the gamelauncher always runs as an administrator, and also uninstall ubisoft game-engine and download it from their website... ubisoft doesent make it easy...
