Can a steam account be banned? or suspended

so i normally used cheat engine for games...i never play online games ...cause i find it to much stess/pressure....but i do use like...cheat engine...cheat trainers ...on my single player games....and i used it on metal gear phantom pain....but i guess it had online like....attached to it....and i got a comment on my steam profile saying i dont even play the game...and they lost....so they called me a hacker....and said they reported me....should i be worried?

This isn't CSGO by any chance would it?

 

They call people hackers all the time, you should be fine.

no...i don't play cs go...it was for phantom pain...and thanks., i needed reassurance

i only played phantom pain..in single player..but i guess the base part or whatever was for both?

Its unethical since you are supporting people who create those engines. But you won't get whole account banned like that. They may bad certain games, though. Whole account ban would require misuse of profile page, forum etc.

As long as you aren't hacking on valve servers or any actual game servers, I can't imagine you'll be banned. Even if you are 'banned' your account should still work, but you can no longer do online multiplayer with that particular game or whatever. I got banned from CS 1.6 back in like 2002 on a different account so I can't play in VAC secured games, but I can still access that steam library and what not.
