I only have GTA V and Warframe (<- free) in my Third Person Shooter category in Steam, so I guess I can suggest that. Otherwise I am personally not really into 3rd person shooter so not sure what to recommend

Splatoon.

 

Saints Row 1, 2, 3, GTA 3, San Andreas, 4, 5, and some others. Fallout 4 you can play in 3rd person and it's fun. Star Wars Battlefront in 3rd person is great.

I used to be quite active here.

I wouldn't class Assassin's Creed as a 3rd person shooter, more like a 3rd person action game.

Warframe,excellent Free To Play game,decent optimisation,graphics,buisness model and very fluid gameplay but a tad bit too grindy.Avainable on both Steam and non-steam.
