Rebuilt PC turns on but won't connect to any display

Go to solution Solved by Moondrelor,

My suggestion,

Try to post the system without the graphics card and only a single stick of ram.

If it goes, then add another stick of ram.

Then add your graphics card.

Shutting down before you add anything of course.

So I recently received a new CPU and mobo for my PC to replace old parts, after installing everything the PC turned on but the connected monitor (we tried 2) didn't detect anything. We tried HDMI, VGA, and DVI, connected to both mother board and GPU with no change in results. We tried all different PC-IE slots and even disconnected the GPU, no change.

Part list:

Msi gtx 970 GPU

Corsair cx750w PSU

Corsair vengeance 8gb RAM

Samsung SSD

I7-4790K CPU (New part)

Asus Z97-A motherboard (New Part)

Thanks for your help, would love to get this fixed.
