Open Nvidia Control Panel and look in "Manage 3D Settings" and then "Global Settings" for a way to change your default / preferred GPU to the 970m

Hey guys,

I have a MSI ge62 laptop with a gtx 970m and when I try to play minecraft on it, whenever i join my server the client crashes(crash log below) unless i right click minecraft and choose the nvidia GPU specifically. Is there any way to fix this?

never heard of anything like that..... interesting, maybe there is a default GPU selection menu in the properties of the game?

This worked, i tried setting the default gpu for the game, but i guess it has to be global.
