Future of AMD am3+ socket

Hey guys. Just curious about the future of am3+ socket. I read somewhere that AMD has speculated that the AM3+ socket will be used for sure on Steamroller and most likely on Excavator. That means that the AM3+ socket will most likely be relevant for at least 3 more years. What do u think?

AMD is ditching the Bulldozer based architecture in favor of Zen and is using a new socket called AM4.

AM3+ is over, I'm at this point 90% sure they wont ever release another AM3+ CPU.

The best you can hope for is that AM4 has backwards compatibility on their DDR3 boards! ;)

 

AM3+ is over, I'm at this point 90% sure they wont ever release another AM3+ CPU. 

There may be a FX-4330 and FX-6330 but not sure if they are still gonna be released... :P

They also have been sued for misinformation over the bulldozer chips. (saying its a six core when its not truly six individual cores.)

The FX 6330 already released in China or something right?

And why would they release it here too? Better to just focus on Zen/AM4 rather than spreading around your focus

So should I not go for an amd processor right now keeping in mind the fact that I am on a really tight budget
