Building a new pc... does this look right?

Sebastian Kurpiel

What's up guys,

So I'm installing my cpu fan right now and the brackets don't look right... it's a Asus z97-A board and the cpu cooler is a cooler Master hyper t4. The picture is below. Thanks in advance.

For socket 1150, aren't you supposed to use the center threading for all the screws? It seems off.

Oh okay, the instruction were a tad in clear thanks.

Z97 has a LGA 1150 socket.

(scoket = where the cpu goes)

CM Hyper T4 can be mounted on the following sockets:

  • Socket 1155
  • Socket 1156
  • Socket 1366
  • Socket 2011
  • Socket 775
  • Socket AM2
  • Socket AM3
  • Socket AM3+
  • Socket FM1

LGA 1155 has the same mounting mechanics as LGA 1150
