Considering new headsets

I bought the Corsair Gaming VOID USB RGB Gaming Headset from Best Buy this week, I've been using wireless headsets for over 4 years and it feels weird going back to wired headsets.

The headset quality is really nice, I enjoy it very much, they are very comfortable but I feel I want to go back to wireless to have that freedom not having wires.

So I am considering returning the USB ones and buying it from Amazon since my local Best Buy does not carry the wireless carbon version of this headset, they only offer the yellow jacket one which in my opinion is fugly lol.

Any thoughts guys? How do you guys like the wireless headset? Is it reliable? Are the battery life good? Does the sound cut in and out?

I am coming from the Wireless Soundblaster Tactical Wrath.

I also have the Logitech 933 on my sights, but I am hearing tons of bad reviews on their forums...specifically something to do with their 7.1 option...

LInus seemed to love the SteelSeries H Wireless.

Honestly, I cannot see why some people love wireless peripherals. By opting for wireless, you're limiting your options to like 1% of the entire market in whichever peripheral you choose. You're also going to be paying a premium for that wireless functionality. And in the case of headphones and mice, it's going to add some extra weight that wouldn't be there otherwise. Managing your cables isn't that hard.

I own and use, sorted from newest to oldest: SteelSeries 6Gv2. Microsoft SideWinder X4. Mionix Naos 7000. Zowie EC1 Evo. Microsoft SideWinder X8. Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0. Dell U2414H. Samsung P2270H. AKG K273 Pro. Sennheiser HD555. Razer Goliathus Speed Medium. Func 1030 L. Qpad CT Medium.

I used to own: Razer DeathAdder 3G. Razer Krait. IntelliMouse Optical 1.1. SteelSeries QcK.

I saw the Steelseries H wireless headsets, just really expensive.

I might just consider staying with the Corsair Void RBG 7.1 USB headset.

They are not bad, I just hate their rubbery wire because they can get all curly and hate that. More and more headsets need to come with braided wires.
