Amd's GVR not supported on r9 380 cards?

Go to solution Solved by PlayStation 2,

what does that mean? My question was if it was ever going to work or not. I want a shadowplay alternative that supports this card.

AMD AMF is the replacement for VCE. As such, your card might not work on GVR.

I was wondering, because everyone said that GVR needs VCE 1.0 or 2.0. Supported cards are appearently HD 75XX and higher, but it doesn't seem that the r9 380 has that technology, since I couldn't do anything in raptr or plays.tv (Shadowplay alternatives). Most of the cards have a second chip that records without dropping any fps. So is it true that it doesn't support it?
