why no love for the strix oc?

Seems like a lot of people are critical of the strix oc and opt for GA or MSI. Curious what peoples thoughts are for the hate.

The asus have 4K bench, and the msi have 12K overclock.

ASUS Strix has really bad VRM cooling and OC capability compared to the MSI and EVGA versions

I personally don't understand why hate for ASUS Strix

I have 2 980s Strix and I'm very happy with them

Is this your personal opinion through testing or do you have reference to provide? Most benchmarks show the strix with the lowest heat dissipation for TIs on the market.

As well as a decent BIOS!

 

(I have had an awful time with ASUS's nVidia BIOS)

Never thought about frozr passed the 970 tbh.
