So as some of you seen my previous post here: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/511099-brand-new-power-supply-blew-up/

I had a 450w SFX PSU blow up after 10 hours of use.

I'm sure it was just a faulty unit or something, but in reality a 450w doesn't give me any room to upgrade my GPU.

I'm considering upgrading to something like a 980ti, given that my 670 died when the PSU blew.

So what's the thoughts on 550w for:

Core i7 6700k; stock speeds; Noctua L9i cooler
32GB DDR4 RAM
EVGA Stinger Mini ITX motherboard
Samsung 256GB 840 Pro SSD
Crucial 500GB SSD
2x Noctua NF-F12's

GTX 980ti?

This is the PSU I would buy: http://www.silverstonetek.com/legacy.php?area=en&model=ST55F-G%20(v1.x)&tno=2

Unless you guys have a better suggestion?

Thanks! :)

Silverstone has a 600W SFX unit. That would fit in your Node 202.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

The Silverstone SX600-G is a good SFX unit.

Ah, thanks guys! I didn't know (or even think to check) if Silverstone did a 600w SFX.

:D
