850W Dark Power Pro enough?

Hey guys,

I just got a 850W beQuiet Dark Power Pro and a second GTX 980. According to my calculation it should barely be enough for my OC (4.5 Ghz) 4790K and the 2 (overclocked to 1300mhz) 980s. What do you guys think? Should I exchange it for a 1000W Power Zone after Christmas?

Thanks in advance

Yeah should be fine but i would get a better PSU that is a pretty "meh" one.

What do youmean by barely enough?

What 980 do you have?

let's calculate that approximately:

2*250W(GPUs) + 150W(CPU) + (other stuff) 100W = 750W and that is probably the worst you will ever get. 250 Watts is overkill for a 980, 150 is overkill for 4790k and you other stuff will never ever consume 100W. Where is the "barely"?
