How do i set corssfire for dual 390x

Bajantechnician
Go to solution Solved by App4that,

gta v?

and the games that amd shows to incorporate crossfire?

A crossfire profile doesn't mean crossfire will give you any benefit. In all the games with profiles I had I only broke even with the performance of only one of my GPUs being used. Which was better than most of the time using crossfire where I lost fps.

Go into the Catalyst Control Center through Crimson in the additional settings tab and set Crossfire to enabled.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Once in CCC I think it's in Gaming, might be video settings too. They keep changing it.

Wait how can you not find it... I found it just by clicking all the tabs when I first got crimson, but idk were it is, because I don't use crossfire.

You should see "Radeon Additional Settings " at the top of the UI. On the left are tabs, one of those should open to show the crossfire enable function. Or go to System in Crimson then Hardware. One of the GPUs will say (primary) and the other should say (linked). If it says (disabled) or doesn't show up you have a problem.

in radeon additional settings, it says

"currently installed 1.3.............."

then to the right it says check for unpated.

Thats it.

however, it says primary and linked.

and idk if this has to do with anything for crossfire, but my gta v profile is loaded in crimson

Open Crimson, at the top right click on "System". Now the top right should say "hardware" and list the GPUs connected to the PC. After each GPU it will say something what does it say?

You're golden. In "gaming" at the top right of the Crimson UI you can set the Crossfire profile for each game. Don't expect much though, very limited crossfire support. Why I sold my second card.

Check GPU-Z to see if Crossfire is enabled by default....

When in Crossfire, only the primary card's (top card) display outputs function.
