Questions about Dying light!

MorbidAngel

Hello guys! I recently started playing Dying light, I've been unable to play it before because it was laggy as hell on my computer for some reason, I tried it every now and then but the game wouldn't save etc etc but I gave it another shot about 2 days ago and it worked like a charm!

But I have a few questions, I'm the kind of guy that never ever does side missions, I just rush through the story because I want to know what happens! But I've taken my time (kinda) to do some side-quest and stuff.

First question: I have all the DLC's and whatever, the Ultimate Edition I think it's called, but should I go to the DLC now? Storywise I just escaped the arena and fled from Rais men. Is the DLC like end-game material for when you have done everything else or is it just another area to explore with new weapons? I tried to Google the questions I had but everywhere I went there were to many spoilers and I'm kinda into the story and I don't want any spoilers at all.

Second question: Is it really worth it to do like every side-quest I come across? Of course it's nice to get upgrades etc etc but will I be underpowered later in the story due to me not having good weapons or being high enough leveled?

Third question: Should I buy weapons or just go around and find them? Some weapons are like 15000$ and for some reason you can only repair your weapon like 3 times before they are useless, I don't understand that system, maybe I'm doing something wrong ..

Fourth question: I just realized when doing a mission in the night that you get more XP for killing monsters at night, should I run around and kill stuff at night or I can just skip it? I'm around level 20-24 right now, not sure .. Don't know if that is good or bad since.

Fifth question: Totally forgot what I was going to ask but if you have tips or stuff like that feel free to tell me everything you know! I feel like I suck on this game I just run past everything because I don't want to get swarmed and killed.

Thanks for taking your time reading/helping me  :D

Regarding question 2&3, 2) Side quests are a really good source of loot and XP. 3) Finding guns is luck of the draw, if you dont have much cash then do some side quests and explore and find some, if you can't find any then just buy them.

If you dont do the side quests you defo won't be underpowered at the end. When I finished the game I had only done a few side quests, and I got through the game quite easily. I started doing the side missions after I had completed the game (that was before there was dlc, so there wasn't much left to do)

The side quests were pretty fun.
