Could Anakin/Darth Vader have a sibling?

Remember when George Lucas said the 'Prequels are meant to mirror the original movies'? They sure did, in quite a few ways. BUT. There is one important thing which has been left out, to say the least, in the prequels. Siblings. Leia and Luke are siblings, but Anakin doesn't have a brother/sister that we know of. This is most likely not valid, but still something interesting to think about.

And also, at the beginning of episode 6, when Yoda says that there is another Skywalker, could he NOT be referring to Leia?

Could he? Sure.

 

But there's no indication that he ever had a sibling. If Episode 8 comes out and it turns out that Anakin Skywalker had a sibling, then it's a 100% retcon, as far as I'm concerned.

 

Also, @RADEON_GUY, I recommend editing your title to include (POSSIBLE FORCE AWAKENS SPOILERS), OR edit your OP to strictly prohibit spoilers. You decide whether you'll allow spoilers or not, just make it clear, since we're discussing Star Wars, after all, and the plot of Force Awakens might have an influence on the answer to your question.

I'm with you Christmas Amphros(?) Man! I finally got tickets for tomorrow and have avoided all SW things since release (I haven't even read the other posts her but yours - not even OP's ). I only have less than 24hrs left...hold strong friend!

More realistic case where this works is, since they were so poor, the mom with the goofy name was forced to give one up to slavers or something. But even then (1) he must be at least +10 older than Anakin for him not to know about a brother in which case (2) he probably wont be alive or in decent shape in the current FA time frame and (3) what are the chances another poor slave kid gets trained in the ways of the force? And if he was, by episode 3 he should have shown up somewhere (unless he has and his character exists with a different name! )

Yes, Christmas Ampharos here! I'm having a hard time avoiding the spoilers. I've had a very huge landmark in the movie spoiled for me both here and in Youtube comments and it's so irritating! Hopefully it's still intact by Sunday

I have limited my internet use and black listed certain keyboards and phrases from showing up for me on my personal devices. The only places I can't block are Imgur, Twitter, and YT comments so I have just been avoiding those.

 

I use YT for a chunk of my media and have been bored all week because of it. Bright side, after tomorrow I will have hours of content backlogged to watch.

 

Also AVOID YAHOO! I *had* that as my homepage (for quick news) and their writers suck at headlines. Have gotten GoT, Walking Dead, and many more ruined by just their title use.

I can tell you that no video has spoiled it for me, just the comments. You can turn the comments off on Youtube, I do believe.

That still leaves Imgur and Twitter lol. But YT comments aren't much of an issue now since most videos I watch are by my Roku or Chromecast vs my computer so can't read comments there anyway but still, You can't chance it!

 

Also heard a-hole theater workers have spoiled it for people coming to watch it (either purposely or accidentally). So this time I'm talking to no one except the person getting me meh nachos
