The EVGA or Seasonic would be a good bang for buck PSU, I'd personally avoid the XFX but that's personal preference. The CX500 will be fine, the old ones used to a tad unreliable but are pretty good now. I used one in a NAS for 24/7 operation for a few  years with no issues.

Oh god oh god nooooo

The EVGA 80 + W1 is not very good inside. Also, an 80 Plus efficiency rating doesn't automagically deem a PSU "good" or not. Check out the pinned topic we have about this on the PSU/cases subforum or in my sig.

XFX are made by seasonic, so why would you avoid them ?

Because it's a personal preference, as I've said above. I've just had a bad run of XFX parts and horrible support in NZ.

Support aside, their PSUs aren't bad quality as they aren't even made by them...

"PSUs aren't bad quality because they're aren't even made by them..." says everything you need to know about XFX   :P I'm sure the PSUs are probably fine if that's the case, I only had issues with the earlier attempts at Nvidia graphics chips.

Well XFX isn't an OEM as goes the same for Corsair, EVGA, Antec and every other reputable brand out there. They have manufacturers produce them and the oulet, whether it's XFX or Corsair or whomever just slaps their sticker on.

It's really common that companies aren't vertically integrated for their entire supply chain and instead outsource manufacturing. As you can see by the linked source, Corsair do indeed outsource their manufacturing processes, but at lease they design and/or improve the products. So to answer your question, no, Corsair (and indeed a lot of top and mid tier brands) don't just re-brand OEM equipment.

What you missed was that my comment was a sarcastic joke... Sorry!

XFX does that too, for example that PSU:

Is exactly the same as this PSU inside:

But XFX added a better quality fan which is also hybrid which mean that it will turn itself off under low load and they also made it fully modular instead of semi-modular...both are flawless units but the XFX is better...i'm using one of these to power my machine and it's very nice very quiet and very efficient i highly recommend it.

I'm aware XFX aren't just re-brands, as I mentioned before... Sarcastic joke.... No longer funny.... I'm out. See ya'.
