Few last choices for my new 4k rig

So I am planning a new build, this is what I've come up with: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/f2hWgs

However, there are a few points I'm not sure about yet:

  • GPU: I do want to get a GTX 980 Ti, but I don't know which one to get. I have pretty much narrowed it down to EVGA SC+ or FTW Edition, but what is the difference between them? And is it worth the price differential? (I am open to other suggestions, Team Red is also possible, but I don't think they have something fitting for what I want)
  • Processor: I put the 6600K in the list, but if the 6700K drops to humane pricing in the next month or two, I'm going to get that one instead
  • Storage: Up until a few hours ago, I was thinking about going with the Sandisk Ultra II 960GB, but now I'm wondering whether or not I should get 2 Samsung 850 EVO 500GB in RAID 0 instead. Is the difference worth the ~60$? Or do you have any other SSDs that are worth looking into?
  • Case: NZXT Noctis 450 does look pretty sweet, the problem is that it has no bay for a CD/DVD reader, which would be nice to have, even though I don't use mine all too much.
  • Monitor: What do you guys think of the Samsung U28E590D?

Any help is always appreciated, also on the rest of my build.

Daniel

I hear that in 4K gaming, team red pulls ahead. Also remember when you use RAID you lose out on TRIM. I got two Samsung 850 pro's 500GB and I was using Raid 0 and then I stopped using raid because it really isn't much faster.

After a quick google search, it seems to me that since around 2012, SSD's (at least some of them) do support TRIM, but I do not know whether or not the Samsung 850 EVO's do. I have to look into that deeper.
