Games Lags for 15 seconds, then stops...?

Liamyo

Recently, i have been having a lot of  FPS lag issues with my games.

I have been mid CS:GO game and for about 15-20 seconds , my FPS will drop down to a SMOOTH 24 (ish, or even lower) fps from being at like 120+, and it is horrible.

I get it in every game i play, Runescape, ArmA 3, GTA V. Even when i have 2 games open ( I don't normally ); for example ,  CS:GO and Runescape,  if i get the lag , it happens on both games ( as you would expect).

The lag happens every... 5-10 minutes.

Has anyone else had this before?

(I've totally forgot how to fix things on PC's , lmao it's been a while)

Main system specs -

GTX 750 - GPU

AMD FX 6300  - CPU

8GB 1333Mhz DDR3 - RAM

Any help is great :D

Thank you.

The Source engine has many interesting problems and this is one of them.

But with the rest of them? Check your Nvidia control panel.

What would i look at on the Nvidia control pannel?

Make sure you have your video drivers updated and installed in Geforce Experience.

It could also be a CPU bottleneck.
