What does ECO mode do on EVGA supernova PSU'S?

Eco (Economic, see where im going here?!)

 

It basically just uses less power by turning off the fan or spinning at low speeds.

Many other PSU have such feature my XFX XTR unit if one of them, it's a good thing to have IMHO.
