so i currently have a gtx 970 with a 4790k and am using a 1080p normal monitor but i was going to upgrade to a lg 34um95C and was wondering if my current card would handle it.

also does anyone know the difference between the lg 34um95 and 34um95c cause aside from no thunderbolt on the c and £160 difference i can't see anything to differentiate  between them

the difference is that the c model has an included VESA Mount

Not max, but on ultra most likey. (Max, IMO is with AA and all that stuff on the full setting)

would adding a second gtx 970 to the setup enable me to run the latest AAA at max on the ultrade 1440p/

It would be very close to max maybe only 4xMSAA not 8 which yeilds no real improvement at 1440p.

Also have a look at the AOC U3477PQU as it has a much nicer stand compared to the 2 LG models mentioned.
