Starting Youtube Channel...looking for 1080p editing and rendering PC spec

joongpark

I am starting a toy youtube channel (I own a toy store).

I am only going to start with 1080p video until I get really good at it.

What kind of spec do I need for rendering 1080p?

I already have following parts.

i7-4790K

32GB HyperX RAM

MSI gaming 5 Mother Board

Corsair 800w modular Power

only thing I can't decide is following

- 1 X GTX 970 (possible add another 970 when I go to 4k)

- 2 X GTX 980 SLI

- 1 X GTX 980

Thanks for any suggestions.

Kevin.

CX is perfectly fine for low end systems.

Cooler Master Silent Pro 700W

Take any PSU of one of the higher tiers of the following list:

http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/406160-psu-ranking-and-tiers/

600W should be enough, but you might want to take 700W if you're gonna add another gpu later. I recommend a single 980 though.

I am more concerned about GPU than PSU as PSU can be upgraded easily but GPU is more perminant (because I might do SLI later)

Thanks for any suggestions on GPU.

Yes but calling it cancer means it's bad no matter what, which it isn't.
