my friend bought a video card for 40 dollers (its tested and it works) but the previous owner just sold it to us without giving us any info can you tell me what it is? i believe its a 270x or a 760 by asus

I am pretty confident it's an AMD card. It's a very poor image, but the shape and position of the thermal pipes says AMD.

 

Get a larger, higher resolution image of the back of the card.

That's just the standard ASUS DirectCU cooler..

It´s not a Deathstar that´s for sure other than that it is a bad image of an Asus DCUII cooler.
