what graphics card is this?

I am pretty confident it's an AMD card. It's a very poor image, but the shape and position of the thermal pipes says AMD.

 

Get a larger, higher resolution image of the back of the card.

that's an Asus Direct CU II cooler

It's Asus using DCII cooler design.... Could be anything from the last couple of years. The only way to check would be to pop it into a system and run GPU-Z.

On a Serious note. The shroud seems to cover the DVI ports which the 760 does and the 270x does not.

It´s not a Deathstar that´s for sure other than that it is a bad image of an Asus DCUII cooler.
