Best buy upgrade - Under 500 euros (preferably around 300-400 e), but flexible

Mefhisto1

Hi,

as the title says, I wish to upgrade my PC. Primary function of my computer is gaming :), then comes work :)

My present config (translated my supplier's web site using Google translate):

https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=sr&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Femmi.rs%2Femmi-konfiguracije-altos-commando.11.html%3FproductId%3D50813&edit-text=

Note: GPU is 250x not 250, they've changed it, but I guess that matters little since, imo, the graphics has the 'replacement' priority.

So, what should I get next that would be considered 'best buy'? Budget should stay below 500, preferably around 300 euros, but as I said, I'm flexible.

I'm buying gear from the aforementioned supplier.

I'd be very grateful for the help, if you could take a look at their offers (or just write one out), that would be best buy.

Their translated page with GPUs:

https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=sr&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Femmi.rs%2Fkonfigurator%2Fproizvodi.10.html%3Fgo%3Dtrue%26Id%3D10%26categoryId%3D214%26sortBy%3DPrice1|ASC%26offset%3D0&edit-text=

The site doesn't offer to change currency used, but anyway, just divide the number you see by 100, and you'll get rough amount in euros. Should be similar to American dollars given the current exchange rates.

Thanks in advance, any help/comment/remark is more than welcome!

See you.

Hi,

380 is your best bet on the GPU side of things, and adding an SSD can do a decent amount for cutting down on loading times

You should also check on what PSU you have, because pe-built stuff usually has just enough power to work, so you may need to change your PSU for a higher end GPU as well

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
