I decided to give Spotify another chance and I must admit... I'm kinda impressed.

Since I'm gonna have to migrate from Rdio to Spotify because of its closure coming up, I decided to give Spotify another go.

I must say, I'm kinda impressed. It could be more responsive but I love the design of it.

How is your experience with Spotify?

Haven't used it, but have you tried Google Play Music All Access? It's free for the first month, then $15/6 people.

I might but at the moment I have no money.

Spotify is great, and will remain great if they don't push out those new features on free users etc. Also, if you own your music (mostly) Google Play is fantastic alternative and has a free option.

Either way, glad you are enjoying Spotify! :D

I love it just wish I could add ripped music to it since there is no way they will get some of the obscure music I listen to.

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

I really like the Spotify ui and apps, but prefer Tidal just for the sound quality.

Wow that's a sexy desktop, is that a theme, if so which one? sorry a bit unfamiliar with W10 (more of a Linux guy)

Its Rainmeter :D Lots of very cool stuff you can do with it, kinda like over the top widgets for your desktop.

Im not quite sure if its openly available for Linux, and when I say "not openly" I mean you may have to do some a lot of tinkering to get it to work :(

but i've never used anything else other than spotify and soundcloud. spotify has all my popular music i need, and soundcloud is great for music nobody else has heard of.

ive been using spotify premium for about 4 years now, after using pandora forever.  i love it.  it has all the features that pandora has, except it lets you save the music into playlists to listen to later, and you can download them for offline play. not to mention the radio feature honestly works better than pandora.  Theyve added a few weird things to the ui within the past year, but its pretty ignorable.

i wont go back to anything else. i dont even save music on my phone anymore, with exception to the music i use for ringtones(Angel Beats soundtrack)

It's completely useless to me, as a rock and metal lover nearly all the groups I look for it doesn't know. I couldn't even find enough stuff to make a playlist.

My desktop looks almost the same as yours. Rainmeter is awesome.

Spotify is one of the best things ever, other than the fact that I accidentally deleted all my songs and had to start over.

how does one accidentally delete all their songs

I cancelled my Spotify after being a premium member for 1.5 years because of it's 2 cardinal sins:

1. No Taylor Swift (I'm a dude)

2. No free YouTube Red (google play all access includes it for no extra charge)

wow, you can just get both. i would have used premium plus google play all access. and i would care less about taylor swift. she's the most greedy person alive.

It's an extra $10/m for the same thing though... a year's worth of savings and it'll get you a nice new SSD.
