Its safe as long as you're buying from a "moderator" or "verified seller"

I've personally purchased from https://www.reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap/comments/3xapi0/h_windows_10_7_8_81_servers_office_visio_project/  Before, without issue.

Some sellers are fully legit, others not so much(they steal the keys in some way). I tend to call these places "legal" piracy, since selling a stolen key is shady AF.

from what i've heard, about as safe as buying second hand online i guess...

nah, it's better. It's reddit so you can't scam shit because people will hunt you down through the internet and it's moderated quite well too.

I've had good and bad experiences with it, my microsoft office key from there went bad, though my windows 8.1 key still works fine.

Overall, I'd say it's alright to use, though I'd suggest buying from amazon or microsoft directly instead.

If you use MSSS, buy from a moderator or whatever, don't just buy from a random seller.

They're keys that the people get from like enterprise or education stuff where they're violating the terms of their purchase but they'll work and technically you're not the one doing the violation.

If microsoft didnt want $900 for a freaking key I would. lets see Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard for $900 or Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard for $20

It sucks but its true :/

And now let's see how much you pay for Red Hat.  You pay for the support, not the software.

Ok thanks! these are legal keys right?

They are not.  These keys are not for sale but they do it anyway.

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

When there is no danger of failure there is no pleasure in success.
