youtube fps ≠ 60

I was watching youtube, and i was trying to watch a 60 fps video. I put it to 60 fps, and i noticed something wrong with it... I checked fraps and...

it was giving me 45 fps instead of 60

 

i was so mad

 

i decided to try some other 60 fps videos

and i STILL GET 45 FPS THIS IS VERY MADDENING NOW

THIS IS REALLY STARTING TO PISS ME OFF

I DOWNLOAD A 60 FPS VIDEO AND GET 60 FPS NO PROBLEM MAN IT WORKS FINE ON MY LAPTOP

BUT YOUTUBE GIVES ME 15 FPS LOWER AND IT IS HURTING MY DAMN EYES

IM USING YOUTUBE ON GOOGLE CHROME ON MY MACBOOK PRO

sorry let me calm down

i reinstalled chrome about 5 times and deleted all of my tabs and chrome extensions

i restarted my computer too and it did not help

I decided to check and i see that the ads on the fucking youtube videos play in 60 fps

i decided to write them a letter:

Please fix your issue with youtube not playing in full 60FPS

I am going to sue you for false advertising your content

If you do not fix it within 24 hours, i plan to get my lawyer to contact you about this and get a court case up.

FRAPS doesn't measure frames correctly with HTML5 based content.

works perfectly fine for me. You sure its not your connection? Also, good luck suing them for false advertising when you are not even paying for it.

Works fine for me and others. If it didn't, you'd have a point... but thats not the case.

Had to laugh at your "If you do not fix it within 24 hours" <-- like they give a fuck.

Since your suing google they'll probably turn it around, sue you and tell your family all the weird shit you look at on the internet. Also FRAPS doesn't work properly in browsers.

 

and chances are it actually is playing in 60FPS and the FRAPS error is just a placebo effect.

You realize that Google probably makes more money  a day than your whole family combined right? They have the money to hire the BEST of the BEST of the BEST and then hire 95 of those guys, just because. LOL

 

Plus, i dont think you not getting 60fps to your computer is going to hold up in court. I agree with those above, they will laugh at your email, and then use it against you in court. Dont waste your time or money.
