I will attach

-keyboard

-mouse

-headphones

-High quality mic

-Webcam

-USB hard-drive for recording (Probably will use a dedicated port for this)

*Im afraid that I will cause a choke point with all of these deceives running at the same time.

*OR the mic quality will be bad because of the limited bandwidth

Power is not a problem bc the hub has ac wall power

If your hub has ac power, there shouldn't be an issue.

EDIT: Last year with my 2010 MacBook, I used a 3-port USB 2 hub and that had my optical mouse and my 2TB external HDD connected, never missed a beat. However now due to lack of use I think it has probably died. It was just a cheap one that was powered by the USB itself.

It says it's 3.0, so I think you should be just fine, especially with it having its own power source. Out of that list the only real things I can see that would even strain it would of course be the hard drive, and the camera if you're recording in a large, HD resolution.

I want to step in here - you will NOT be fine for a mic + HD webcam + hard drive for recording.

You're not "overloading" it, but there isn't enough bandwidth for all that. Windows will even tell you such.

Likely the webcam won't want to open a lot, or it might stutter.

USB Hard drive speed will be severely limited and won't be remotely capable of recording.

I've used a big USB 3.0 hub on a desktop with powerful USB 3.0 performance for over a year now. Originally hooked up mouse, keyboard, second mouse, webcam, audio interface, etc. and it couldn't handle the webcam half the time in Skype, and audio interface would reset a lot. (Keep in mind these are all USB 2.0, even, so less bandwidth usage.)

Moved the audio interface to a motherboard port, got rid of one connection, webcam still is finnicky.

You're definitely going to want the hard drive in a dedicated onboard port; probably the webcam, too.

Ok so my laptop has 2 Usb 3.0's and 1 2.0, How should I spread my devices out?

Get two USB 3.0 hubs with less ports each, rather than one giant hub.

Two of these would probably work well for you. http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Port-2-5A-power-adapter/dp/B00DQFGH80/ref=sr_1_6?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1450317445&sr=1-6&keywords=4+port+usb+3.0+hub

USB 2.0:

-keyboard

-mouse

-headphones (can't you use the audio jack instead of usb for that?)

USB 3.0

-High quality mic

-Webcam

USB 3.0:

-USB hard-drive

This would probably be "ideal"

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus / NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 / PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Win 10 Pro
