Bought ram for an AMD CPU, Intel all over the box

Go to solution Solved by Sam Z Man,

Ram is Ram, who gives a shit as long as it works.

Hell!  A few years ago I bought a kit of 16GB of RAM, and its never failed me, but when I received it I noticed it had Intel stuff all over the packaging. Am i missing any features or does it even mater?

It doesn't matter.

Answered like a super similar question earlier today: DDR3 is still DDR3, so it doesn't matter Intel apparently sponsored them or the RAM maker wants attention.

It does not matter at all

My brother fell for that one, spent 90 bucks on 8gb of RAM online for his mac. It's a shame he didn't tell me until after he already bought and received it.

Spoiler
