Not admin on my own computer? Help!

I was going to download Bruteforce on my computer so I could modify my borderlands 2 save on ps3.
anyway as I needed to download a separate file in order to have Bruteforce working I got in to some problems..

I had to extract "MSVBVM50.DLL" in to the Bruteforce folder located at "C: / Programfiles (x86) / Bruteforce Save Data" folder but when I tried to paste the file inside the folder I was not allowed/ got the messages "Destination Folder Access Denied" as seen in the screenshot..

I got this PC way back in 2011 I think, and it was brand new with windows 7, so how is this possible? Windows even says I'm the admin on the computer..  :blink:

No Bruteforce need to be installed separated from the file Im later going to extract inside the folder, the problem I'm really having is that it seems Im not the admin on my own computer, so I cant move the "MSVBVM50.DLL" file inside the Bruteforce folder located at C:/Programfiles (x86)/Bruteforce

You can "Force it" (continue as admin), or "Hop over" (skip)

The window just closes, nothing happens..

Then it should have been pasted. Can you double check that the file actually pasted?

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

giving your local account administrator does not unlock full administrator access. you can enable administrator access and login from there.

 

another thing you may want to have a look at is to see security settings of the folder itself, and give your account full access to read/write.
