Hi, I'm looking to get a cheap laptop for uni (under $500 USD), preferably with good battery life, that wouldn't take forever to compile programs. I'd like something with windows, or at least windows compatible drivers since I already own a copy of windows I can install for it. I'm a computer science major that tends to take notes for every class (if possible) on my laptop. 13-15" screen would be ideal, with an integrated cat5/6 ethernet port, since I saw those aren't always in new laptops now.

Suggestions appreciated! Thanks.
