21:9 29" curved vs 34" flat

Hey guys, 

 

I would like some opinions on LG 29UC97C vs 34UM67

I have a G1 GTX 970, sitting about 90cm (35 inches) away from the screen.

Both of these panels are 2560x1080, so the 970 should be ok with both of them. I'm just not sure if 34" over the 29" is worth sacrificing the curve and the fancy stand at this distance? 

Mostly going to use it for movies and games, sometimes coding. Any tips/hints?
