How long do most PSU last?

hqbreaker

I have a corsair 750k v2.  Its about 3 years 9 months old.  Since I pretty much bought a bunch of new stuff (CPU, Motherboard, GPU, hard drive), I would like to know how long do PSUs normally last.  I don't wanna risk damage to my new componets.

TX should last about 4-5 years with no issues. The warranty for those things is, like, three, right?

Intel Core i7-6700K | Corsair H105 | Asus Z170I PRO GAMING | G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB | 950 PRO 512GB M.2

Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB STRIX OC | BitFenix Prodigy (Black/Red) | XFX PRO Black Edition 850W

You should be fine using that power supply. Companies pretty much guarantee the unit to last as long as the warranty, but it could last longer.

It's 5 years. The TX V2 series (I've got one too) is made by SeaSonic, so they're top quality, they're the exact same PSUs that XFX branded as XFX Pro series at the time when it was released and it scored like 9.5/10 on Jonnyguru so yeah. It should last more than 5 years without any trouble

Power supplies, provided they're good, should last 10+ years. Any high-end Seasonic unit should last 20 years, really.
