Different types of Headphones

SebastianThorn

So, I'm having a bit of trouble choosing which headset/headphones to get. It's between Sennheiser 363D and Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro. If I get the Sennheiser ones, I will get a mixamp, like an astro. I'm just curious about everyones opinion.

Thanks in advance!

Get a HD 518 instead (598s deliver almost the same audio)

I already have a microphone, but I'll check them out.

Maybe comfort? Also I would be a little bit cheaper.

I guess. But I don't see a point in getting a gaming headset if you already have a mic. Rather pointless. My 598s are the most comfortable things I've ever worn. I love them

I don't really see the point in a mixamp.

An amp or dac could be used with the 598s have 50ohms of impedance, so you'll still get AMAZING quality without anything, but you really don't need a mixamp. If you want something though for whatever reason, get an amp or dac I suppose.

Well, as said earlier I want 7.1 Surround. That's why I would get a dac or amp. The 363D already comes with it.
