Grand Theft Auto V Launcher Outdated?

Every time I load up GTA V Launcher, it tries to update, and give me this error:

Note, this is the disc-install version, not the download.

Since when? maybe actually there's a problem in rockstar servers

 

Possibly. The PC server is currently up at time of posting.

Could be entirely unrelated. But I'm having issues with Online today, everytime I go to join a new session from a mission etc. it kicks me out of online, so could be a R* issues (and they'll do nothing about it until they can be bothered)

I must note, the research I did on this mentioned manually patching the launcher.

The launcher is awful for me, I dread everytime a new game update come out!! Cannot belive it from Rockstar tbh....
