VRM Cooling VS North Bridge Cooling

TubsAlwaysWins

Should I position my stock heat sync fan over my VRM heatsink or my north bridge heatsink? I will be overclocking to Kingdom come so that's why I'm wondering

Maybe a fan over the VRM heatsink, those get quite toasty when overclocking an AMD FX-8300 series CPU.

Ok. Should I put it in push or pull? Or does it make a difference

Push would be better. So the fan will blow air on top of the VRM heatsink.

How do you recommend mounting it?

Well how I did it was I simply rested a fan on top of my GPU and faced it towards the VRM heatsink. Not pretty but it works

I'll try zip tying it to my waterblock first
