I need help choosing a PSU!

Bombfish

I have a long wait behind me, I mean a looong wait. I have been waiting to get enough money to my first build for ages. The time is finally here and I dont know which PSU I'm going to buy D:

My current plan is:

Case: Phanteks enthoo Mini XL

Mobo: asus VIII gene mATX

CPU: i5 6600k

GPU: Sapphire R9 390 (with backplate)

HDD: 1000gb WD Blue

RAM: 2x4gb HyperX ddr4

My plans are that I will buy a second GPU later and I really dont want to change my PSU aswell... :/

I also would like to hear your comments on the plan and is r9 390 CFX better than GTX970 SLI.

Thanks in advance!:)

if you want a second r9 390 later down the road, the CM V1000 should be sufficient with headroom for a overclock and future upgrades

and r9 390 all the way vs the gtx 970

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

It does as long as the cards are 2 slots thick :D

And the PSU also needs proper connectors for dual GPU, becouse the sapphire cards use 2x8pin connectors

390CF = better than 970 SLI = 980ti still recommended. For two cards (two 390s) 750-850W is recommended. For the dual 970s 650W is recommended as for a 980ti.

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.

My system: PCPartPicker || For Corsair support tag @Corsair Josephor @Corsair Nick || My 5MT Legacy GT Wagon ||
