Hi guys,

For this holiday season, I'd like to give my girlfriend a House of Marley Chant Mini ( http://www.amazon.com/House-Marley-EM-JA007-NV-Portable-Bluetooth/dp/B00VM5I2IY/ref=sr_1_20?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1449736252&sr=1-20&keywords=house+of+marley+chant )!

Her name's Ana. I've been dating her for quite a while now. She's been so good to me all this time and I thoroughly enjoy being with her in this relationship. She listens to music everyday, but she's always stuck listening through her old laptop's speaker. Her phone doesn't have a good enough speaker and she doesn't like listening through headphones. These are some setbacks she has in listening to music. I was planning on buying a gift for her this Christmas, but setbacks had prevented me from saving up enough money for it. I've heard of House of Marley for a while now, and I'm familiar with their sound quality and design of their products. I'm sure that she'll like it. I hope that this gift may brighten her days.

Although I've just joined this forum, I've been a fan of your channel for quite a while and I've always enjoyed learning more about tech from you guys (especially from the Techquickie channel). I hope you guys can help me with this!

Thanks a bunch, and Merry Christmas!  :)

My sister is going to be graduating from college this December, she will be the first in our entire family to graduate from a university and earn a degree. She's had the same laptop for the past 4 years, a really old and battered Sony Vaio its starting to fail on her constantly ie Blue Screens of Death, Low battery life, Bad wifi card. The list of problems goes on and after countless repairs by me and other PC technicians I think its time to retire the old laptop and reward her for her hard work with a brand new laptop for Graduate school.

So, for my step dad, who doesn't have a smartphone (and doesn't one, I shall add)
The blu energy x because his current (lg flip phone... Whoo?) has to be charged constantly... This would also be nice for him because he could play bejeweled (I am to blame for my parents addiction to it...) when he wants to.

I would buy a Intel NUC http://www.amazon.com/Intel-DisplayPort-i3-4010U-Consumer-BOXD34010WYKH1/dp/B00HOJAVDG/ref=sr_1_11?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1449737053&sr=1-11&keywords=nuc&refinements=p_72%3A1248879011 for my grandparents as they've been really bored at home after the tv subscription ended (we need to pay and subscribe to watch most of the channels here) so I thought it'll be good to give them this so they can watch their shows online. Thanks LTT!

Hey team linus!

My sister still plugs her laptop into her tv using an HDMI cable to watch movies, which is not only hella inconvenient, but seeing a long wire coming all the way from the back of the tv to the laptop is a problem just begging for a solution.

I would get her the NVIDIA SHIELD Pro! Not only would it solve her laptop/movie watching woes (in a future proofing way - if she ever decides to go 4K), but might even get her to play some indie games and revive that gamer in her that was the one to introduce me to games like portal many a years ago.

I would like to give this microphone to my friend:- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015R0IQGW/ref=s9_simh_gw_g267_i2_r?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-3&pf_rd_r=061VZND97F3S55R5B9H8&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2084660942&pf_rd_i=desktop, he makes videos but he doesn't have any microphone so the audio quality is bad. This was featured in TLDTODAY's video that's why I know about it. Thank you so much. :)

The Sonos headphones seemed like a good set of headphones!

A few months ago my brother bought these "amazing gaming headphones and mocrophone" they look like garbage, he got hem for 50$ he says they are "ok" but to be honest they sound terrible. Most free with your phone headphones are better so I think that for my brother the Sonos headphone Linus had on display before the video would be cool and a definantly upgrade.

This would be perfect for my mom. She could backup all her pictures and important documents. At the moment nothing is backed up.

It's listed in Canadian currency but it's under the $300 USD limit.

Thanks!

I'd go with the Sennheiser RS 185 RF for my grandfather. He's always loved music but currently uses crummy earbuds and he deserves better for all he's done for our family (and country, was a teacher and a soldier but those aren't well paying enough jobs.)
(I'd have prefered to say hd600's but they're just over the limit :'(, sadly)

I would purchase the Samsung HW-J550 soundbar http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-HW-J550-Channel-Wireless-Soundbar/dp/B00UE9NK86/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1449737420&sr=8-2&keywords=sub+soundbar

The gift would be for my soon to be 50 year old father.

Being a older man that used to love tinkering with speakers he is now annoyed at his current confusing AV speaker setup.  This gift would give him wonderful sound and ease of use when sitting down for a movie at night.

My mom has been complaining about bad shoulder and back pain from typing on her keyboard (she is a programmer), which is a membrane keyboard. I've been wanting to get her a mechanical keyboard for Christmas and this givaway seemed like a good oportunity to see if I could get her one.

I would get this HDD for my grandmas NAS, since her current one is almost full and she does love her videos being streamed in the house via Chromecast (talk about a learning curve for an old lady!).

I bought my parents a motherboard and CPU cooler because I salvage every computer I can come across and found one that only needed a new motherbard and CPU cooler. My parents have been using their phones for everything they can or just borrowing my computer, so I finally built my own scrapyard system. I got the Asus M81M-E motherboard and the DeepCool Theta 15 CPU cooler (or at least these were the closest parts to the ones I bought on Newegg, I actually paid quite a bit less) and built my parents a Windows 10 computer with an i3 4170, 500 GB HDD, and 4 GB of ram, and even through in a gtx 620 I had laying around for the hell of it and if they want to play some better games on it I'll throw in my HD 6850. That entire system cost me around $50.

My dad isn't much of a fan of fancy tech, he just likes the essentials and if it's simple and it works fine, then it's alright for him. Every week or so when we go out shopping such as in Costco, we would always go down the music area and check out the headsets and speakers to see whether or not they are on sale and affordable. He's a fan of music and Bose but never actually had a pair of his own to listen to something he loves. At the moment he's just using an old pair of Apple earbuds, which he finds uncomfortable at times. The situation were is kind of complicated, he just got back on his feet after losing his job recently and is only making enough money for the essentials at the moment. To repay him for what he has provided for our family, I would love to gift him something special that will for sure be used by him every single day and enjoy every bit of it. I'm not a guy that would typically say "I love you" to my parents but I do love them but I don't know how to express it or show it. This is something I have never done before and if it follows through, it will be a great suprise and something he would never expect me to do. Linus I appreciate what you're doing for these 3 lucky people and I hope I may be one of them. It will be the highlight of my year, possiblely life, to give back to someone that's given me so much already. Opposed to the other Christmas and birthdays, I had always given him handmade gifts such as cards and paper origami, or a drawing, but this year I also wish to give him a Bose QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones - Apple devices, Black - Wired: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00M1NEUKK/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1449736831&sr=8-1π=SY200_QL40&keywords=headset+bose&dpPl=1&dpID=51itR-iia7L&ref=plSrch&th=1&psc=1

Thank you Linus for giving us a chance to give back to our loved ones when we don't have much to give. :)
