For my mother,

I would buy a Chrome-cast 2, because she really loves watching movies, from Netflix, and YouTube videos, on her phone.

But she always complains that she doesn't get to watch it on a bigger screen, like the TV.

She isn't too tech-heavy, all she has (in terms of technology) is her phone, which she uses for; calls, Facebook, Netflix, etc.

My parents have a really old hard drive still running in their system, and that is making things really really slow for them.(Which is why they hardly use it ) Ive been thinking of upgrading to an SSD since all the other components are pretty solid.

My dad has an 8 year old tv which has been showing its age for the last year or so its faulty and the hdmi input just stops working and isnt very usable and so because of this i would get my dad a new tv but i dont have the money, thank you linustechtips if you guys help me out : )

I would get a Bose Sound Touch 10 for my dad!

We got a new home theater and now it is too complicated for him to listen to music from his cds and there is no more radio connected.

I would like to buy a new keyboard for my brother. All night I hear him smashing on an annoying one that is always waking members of our family up from their sleep. Also, he plays a lot of different games on not the "best" rig. If anything he needs a new keyboard. I never knew you had a website and was such a big fan of your Youtube Channel. Now I see how bad a fan I was. Ok Now coming to the giveaway. This giveaway is for my Dad who used to be a music composer. But now he's too old to compose music. Now all he does is listens to music on the TV along with the inbuilt speakers. But unfortunately the speakers on my TV stopped working. Although I got the speaker fixed, it doesn't sound the same so I thought of getting him a 2.1 speaker. But most of the good ones are well over $200 and I can't spend that much on speakers. So i think this is the best time to make my dad feel happy. The thing is, my parents is very open for most tech stuff and all.. they are just not too good at it. I'm constantly trying to convince them to buy us a NAS server so we could have more space on our pc's and external drives but they just don't get it. Anyways, I could really use one of these since my budget is low and I'm sitting here with an HiFi setup I got that's just collecting dust since I have no amplifier for it.

I would gift my mom a Mini PC, so she can finally dodge the overpriced Pay-TV for Netflix and also Stream her Music from the same Device.

She is not very tech savvy but I have a really simple remote control for Windows and with Kodi and a remote keyboard Netflix is like the easiest thing on the planet for her to do.

I would give my mom and her bf the nvidia shield tv because well they both work so hard and the only time they have to relax is coming home watching tv then they are off to bed and right back to work in the morning and my mom likes to play some games to so I think this would be perfect for them they deserve it.

I would personally love to give my parents 3 fire tvs for their house. They've been locked in for the last 10 years with the cable company's bundle for Internet, tv, and phone plan. For which to pay way too much for services such as a landline they don't even use and with the vast library that comes from streaming devices they could save a ton of money each month by just paying Internet. I know they have been looking into doing this for the last few months but the problem is the don't have the money to buy a device for all 3 tvs the have in the house. plus with the ease of navigation and especially the voice search remote even my technology challenged dad would be able to use the device!

Logitech Harmony Remote

 

For my Parents, Its not the touch screen one that would probably drive them nuts, but this is the one I use. I could program it and set it up, it has so FEW buttons on it, but still does everything they need to do with a simple interface. This would replace them using 3+ remotes in the room for their home theater.
