I need help with my dual monitor setup

YT2002

I got a TV as my second monitor, it is a dick smith TV that is 21.5 inches and I have my main monior. an 24inch BenQ RL2455M. I set the DIck smith TV to 1920 by 1080, but then it over scales and I cant see the borders of the dusplay. I know this is due to my BenQ being bigger than the Tv, but how do I fix it?

PC is Intel Core i5 6400, GIgabyte H170 Gaming 3, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB 2400Mhz ,Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB, WD Blue 1TB, NZXT S340, ASUS Geforce GTX 960. Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/793XNG. Graphics card choices don't always have to be dictated on performance. If you want the game stream and power consumption of the GTX 970 get that. If you want raw performance of the R9 390 get that. In the end we are all gamers, so what if your buddy gets an extra 5 fps?

It's because of the TV.

I forget the settings, but it has something to do with screen alignment/size on the TV settings.

Yeah. I looked in the display settings but nothing was there. If I set the resoloution to 1024x768 it would be fine, just it didnt fill up the screen and there is less pixels.

It's some sort of display settings, search around more in your TV settings.

Not within windows, but within the TV itself.

I actually remember when I was trying to hook it up to a computer last time using VGA worked. Maybe something with the display

It's a thing with HDMI. I've had this problem before, I'll try to find out what I did to fix it.

I know it has something to do with scaling on the TV
